Le hack CSS Safari !

J’avais un peu galeré pour le trouver celui là ;-) En fait il cible les moteurs KHTML et WebKit, c’est à dire toutes les versions de Safari, et Konqueror.

html[xmlns*=""] body:last-child ... { ... }

Testé avec Konqueror 3.5, Safari 1.2 Mac, Safari 1.3 Mac, Safari 2.0 Mac, Safari 3.1 Mac, Safari 3.1 Win, IE6, IE7, IE8, FF1.5, FF2, FF3

Ce hack est valide CSS3, mais pas CSS2.

    ah les hacks, ça me file des boutons :) Dans un monde idéal, on ne devrait pas y recourir. Dans un de mes derniers articles, j’explique mon point de vue là dessus.
    Mais pour le cas que tu présentes, il s’agira d’un hack pour CSS2 mais pas pour CSS3 puisque la notation est tout à fait valide donc c’est clairement acceptable :)

    Effectivement, si le comportement de tous les browsers était homogène (respectait les standards), on aurait pas à y recourir ;-)

    Sinon j’ai lu ton article et suis d’accord avec toi sur le fait qu’il est important de ne pas utiliser de propriétés propriétaires, d’utiliser uniquement du code valide, de faire du code clair, etc …

    Un petit soucis avec ton hack… Il n’a apparemment pas été tester sur Opéra ;) qui pose effectivement problème :(

    Quel est le problème ? Je n’ai pas rencontré de soucis à l’époque mais le browser a évolué depuis, c’est ce qui pose pb dans l’utilisation des hacks.

    China had alot of balls to be able to hack a U.S. Company. I hope that Google will be able to prevent additional hacks.
